# Switch between creators

> Choose the creator you are working with and check their connection.

Open **Creators** in the desktop app to see the creator accounts available to you. The connected list shows each account's connection status.

## Select a creator

Choose the creator you want to work with before opening **Chats**, the vault, analytics, agents, or automations. Check the selected creator again before sending a message or changing a rule.

## Understand connection status

| Status | What to do |
| - | - |
| Connected | Select the creator and continue working. |
| Needs reconnecting | Ask someone with creator-management access to reconnect the account. |
| Not listed | Ask your manager to check your creator assignment and whether the account is connected. |

## Manage access

Owners and permitted managers can manage creator connections. Team members see the creators they have access to. A chatter who cannot see a creator should ask a manager to check the assignment rather than creating a new agency account.
