# Connect a creator

> Sign in to OnlyFans through the desktop app to add a creator to your workspace.

Connect creators from the **Creators** screen in the desktop app. You need permission to manage creators and an available creator seat in your workspace.

    Sign in to the desktop app and open **Creators** in the sidebar.

  <Step title="Choose Connect a creator">
    Select **Connect a creator**. OnlyStack opens an OnlyFans sign-in window.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in to OnlyFans">
    Sign in to the creator's OnlyFans account in that window. Complete any verification OnlyFans requests.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for connection to finish">
    Return to OnlyStack and wait for the creator to appear as **Connected**. Select the creator before opening chats or media.

## If you cannot add a creator

* **All seats are in use:** ask the workspace owner to review creator capacity.
* **The button is missing:** check your role and permissions with the owner or manager.
* **The creator needs to sign in again:** use **Reconnect** on the existing creator instead of trying to add another entry.
* **The connection fails:** follow [connection troubleshooting](/troubleshooting/connection).

  Disconnecting a creator interrupts work that depends on that connection. Reconnecting requires signing in to OnlyFans again. Coordinate with the team before disconnecting an account.
